storing images on CD vs. DVD

I work in the Marketing field and some folks in my department save a ton of jpeg's and tiff's. We've always used CD's to save our images, but it occurred to me that it might be more cost efficient to use DVD's instead. Any ideas?

Hmmm

Calculate the price/MB. You would see that you get more for what you pay for when you go the DVD way. However, with DVDs, quality is essential for backup purposes. That would mean that you would have to go with quality. That would mean higher prices. However, I would still go with the DVD storage solution. If all of you have DVD drives, then why not?

Yeah, I wasn't sure if I should take anything other than $/MB into account. Thanks for your help -- we'll be going with the DVD's.
