strange benchmarking @ tomshardware.com

The game itself is to be questioned, Dark messiah is a source powered game. The Source engine has always favored ATI cards. as for the GTS/GTX thing... Tomshardware has been under alot of fire regarding their benchmarks, sometimes they can be.. off.
 
I noticed that a while back as well, however it's only with Dark Messiah MM. Many people say that their benchmarks aren't reliable, so I've always taking what they say with a grain of salt and look at other benchmarks as well.
 
i see. thanks guys, but i also have a question. since in some places the 7900GT and the 1950PRO can be found for about 130$, (512 MB on the ATI) is tomshardware correct in saying that the 1950 blows the 7900 away?
