Strange Counter Strike 1.6 Problem??

Hello,

I have a very strange CS1.6 problem.
When i try to run the game, main screen pops up, and pops out after a second. Same with Half-Life... What the heck?

I tried to reinstall, try other cs1.6 editions, but none of them works.
I have been playing cs1.6, and after 2-3months of break, i couldn't run. Oh ant Counter-Strike:Source works fine.

Phenom 955 3.2ghz
Asus M4A770TD PRO
2x 2gb Ram Corsair XMS3
Radeon HD4890 (MSI R4890 Cyclone)
1TB WDC GreenPower.

Same thing happened to me few months ago with CS:Source. I could not fix the problem and i reinstalled my Windows. ( I had to do a clean install anyways so it really didnt bother me much ). Wait to see if somebody knows what's causing the problem.
 
I'd verify the game cache, if anything is wrong it will redownload files. also a steam update was jsut released so try restarting steam.

If that doesn't work, delete/backup the game and reinstall.
