strange error with trackmania nations on vista

ok well as some may know from the "free online games" thread, i have run into MUCH resistence trying to play trackmania nations. but theres something new now. i updated the game, and now hen i click play, my system doesnt nearly crash with the 300 or so (not lying) errors that i got before, but i get one single error: to install the application, you must have administrator privileges on this computer... i know for a fact that i am on he administrator profile, as i only HAVE ONE PROFILE is this talking about something else?

hmm, interesting, my friend plays it on Vista and it works fine.

have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling it?

or after trying the Trackmania forums maybe consider these:

1. Update to the newest starforce driver
2. Don't install TMN, only copy the tmn program files directory from a Windows XP version to a folder on your new Vista install
3. Open the game with the .exe file, not with the launcher.

have you tried

Control Panel>Classic Mode>UserAccounts> Click Turn User Account Control On or Off. TURN IT OFF

if you keep getting the problem, post on the trackmania forums, theyre the experts on this. i have tried to help, but i only play the game, im no expert on it lol.

and make sure when you do get it running visit "UNP Mini Maps" the most awesomist server in teh world!
