Strange Problem

First, I am a computer moron. Computers scare me. I had a strange thing happen about a week ago, out of the blue. I did NOTHING different or new, added nothing (would not know how, anyway). All of a sudden, overlaying most of the pictures and documents in My Pictures and My Documents, I got a square blue box with two >> in it.

Now, today, they have all changed to green boxes with a check mark in them. Can this be caused by Microsoft and the fact that I still have Windows 7? Or something else?

I just downloaded some pics and they have the blue box. The ones with the green boxes are older and the green boxes replaced the blue boxes. This stuff in is both pictures and documents

If they are what I think they are that means its synced with one drive. Do you have one drive enabled?

I do not know what that is? How do I do that?

Check your installed program list for a program called One drive. Green checkmark means its been synced and the arrow means its being synced.

It does not show on the list.
