Iv just ordered a new 8800GTS 320mb, and i have noticed that they stopped displaying the number of "pipelines" but have instead displayed "stream processors".
At the release of the 8 series was the first i had heard this term. What does it mean?
Can anyone shed some light on what stream processors are? And how they differ from pipelines?
