Streaming problem

hey all,
Im having a problem lately watching streaming movies from site such as putfile and alike, the page will load however in the box in the mifddle where the movie should play i just keep getting the little red cross in the white box...... it worked in the past but all of a sudden it has stopped.

i have turned off all firewalls and spyware monitors but it still wont work

What browser are you using and when did it start doing this?

if your using firefox try downloading the pluggins again here.

im using IE6 and i first noticed it about 4 weeks ago

get firefox. It should fix this problem after you download it. There should be a box that says "download plugins here" or something like that where you would normally stream stuff. It is also more secure.

if none of that works try VLC Player (just google it) it plays about every type of media there is, and installs the codecs for your browsers

nope no success, i downloaded firefor and that wouldnt play it either ... is there anything esle it could be?????
