Hi, I don't have TOO much experience when it comes to networking. Here's the problem:

My buddy is using Belkin f6d4230-4 v2 wireless n router. He uses the wireless for his laptop, and then to ethernets to the desktop and to the xbox 360. Whenevr he tries to play live on xbox he gets a notification saying he has a strict NAT, and he gets a lot of lag. He looked into it on google, and he tried forwarding ports, and says it worked for like a day, then for some reason he says it went back to a strict NAT.He asked me if i knew, i don't, so now im asking you guys

anyone have any ideas?? thanks alot

does your router have a DMZ function? If you put your 360 as DMZ'ed all the ports would be open (its as if your 360 is outside your router)

go into router settings. usually type one of these into the adress bar
192.168.0.1
192.168.1.1
192.168.0.100
092.168.1.100

alright, I'll have to do it tmrw when I'm at his place. What do I do once I'm in the router settings?

I googled his router model number, and it seems like it does have a DMZ function.
