Stripes at bottom of the screen and dark vertical "shadow" on laptop screen

Hi! I have an issue with my 2,5 year old Legion 5 screen.

As you can see on the pictures, there are horizontal lines at the bottom of the screen. I'm not sure when they exactly appeared, but I've spotted them 1-2~ or so month ago. Apart from that, there are also vertical shadows on the middle of the screen, visible on the blue background.

I'm not really sure what might be the reason for them existing and I didn't find a satisfying answer anywhere else on the internet, so here I am. I have no idea if it's a fault with the matrix, graphics, or maybe a cable got disconnected inside the laptop. It's especially visible on green background

Maybe someone here will have a clue as to what it might be.

My specifications:

Lenovo Legion 5
AMD Ryzen 7 4800AH
16 GB Ram
GTX 1660 Ti
Windows 10

It looks like a physical issue but you can test it by uninstalling and reinstalling the graphics driver.

If your model supports this: to confirm the physical aspect, perform a LCD BIST test:
  1. Turn off the computer.
  2. Connect the AC power adapter.
  3. Press Fn, left Ctrl, and the power button at the same time. If the LCD panel displays at least five solid colors in sequence across the entire screen, it indicates that the LCD is functioning normally.
  4. The test lasts for about 20 seconds and then the computer turns off automatically, or press the power button to exit the test.
If you see the lines here, then it would be a screen issue.

Worse case, use a Ubuntu LiveUSB and select the Try Ubuntu (it won't install on your computer)
