Studying in the UK

Hay,

I'm looking at a career change, at the moment i work in Travel but i really would like to work with computers. I'm looking for courses that will get me started in a career with Computer hardware.
Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction?
 
There's quite a few directions you could go in - hardware wise. There's design, with the big companies that are around, or there's networking, or there's system building, or there's system repair and data recovery. Just off the top of my head. I think before courses are suggested, it's important to know whether they'll be particular to your interests, or whether you don't have much knowledge and are looking for a generalised course to start off with. :)

Also what's your current experience with computers?
 
I did a few courses in the past to do with electronic, but that was about 0 years ago, and things change and move so fast in this industry, so the courses i did will have now relevance now. I've done 2 years with a electriction. The two areas that would intrest me would be design or system building.
