ok, brace yourself.

how do you take your laptop apart. i need to know so i can clean out the fan, because my processor has been overheating and causing my computer to crash. its an hp laptop, specs are in my sig.

Um...you take the screws out that hold it together :P There's not "set method" to take all laptops apart, so not knowing your make/model makes it hard to answer. Not that I really could tell you much more if I knew your specs.

HP Pavilion ze4547wm
Intel Mobile Celeron 2.4Ghz
256MB Ram
40GB HDD
64MB ATI Graphics RS200M 350Mhz
Windows XP Home Edition SP2

see my sister tried to take it apart one day when i was at school and she said that she took every single screw out of it and she couldnt get it to open. i dont know if shes just too dumb to figure it out or what.

have a google for "hp laptop dissasembly", might find some use there.

Some have certain ways in which you should dismantle the laptop to get to sections. I just had to dismantle a dell inspiron due to a damaged power connector.

At first glance it looks like you could just take the back off.

But instead you have to remove the hinge covers to the screen, take the keyboard out, then remove the screen itself and finally the housing to get to the board.
