Stupid Question??

Umm ok so this may very well be the dumbest question I have posted, but I have to figure it out cause it's killing me. All I need to know is how do I figure out if I'm running directx 9 or 10 or 11? Like is there somewhere I can click in my comp to find out? Is it up to the game or application I am using? Just really wanna know. Thanks.:o
 
Go to 'run' and type dxdiag and at the bottom of System information on the System tag the Direct x version will be listed. That's how its done on a windows OS at least.
