Well today, the 31st I got my DS3 and hoped to just slap together the PC and have it work... bad thing is:
It wasnt so easy....
I decided to make things cleaner while setting up my RAID for the Raptors to format the Primary 30GB Partition of my 250GB HDD and merge the partition with PM8.. it went pretty smoothly until the end when it gave me two 1520 errors and now the drive is not acessable under windows so I installed my GDB to relaize I installed hte one I didnt buy so I didnt have the key for it which wasted an hour and a half of my time, but this is what I had to do:
Go through the whole " Scanning the HDD" part for about an hour and 45 minuets
Dig through my HDD to find my back up of MY Version of GDB
Un install the version I don't own which wont let me copy files while leaving it up so I can install the older version
install the older version
close the newer one
open the old one, run it for 2 hours (still in progress)
THEN copy all data to my raptors
change drive letters for the 250GB Slave to D: and change the RAID-0 Raptors to C:
format the 250GB back up drive
push all of the crap off of the raptos onto the back up drive
AND THEN I CAN BE HAPPY AND FINALLY I CAN INSTALL MY VIDEO DRIVERS!!!!
lol... Thank you norton, for screwing up the more important thing I have ever used you on... (Just yesterday I converted my grandmothers ACER laptop harddrive to NTFS from FAT32 after merging the partitions and nothing bad happend to her
