Sturdy laptop?

I'm back on the hunt for more possibilities for my college laptop. Are there any sturdy/sleek laptops for under $1200? What I mean by sturdy/sleek is the use of some metal parts, strong hinges etc. Screen size has to be 14.1".

I take a lenovo C200 to college

good build quality. not too expensive. Upgrade the ram to 2gb though.
