Sub $1100 Build

I need help finishing this... I don't want to spend much more than necessary even though I realize saying that is pretty vague. I'm going for a good looking build as well since I am going to purchase another side panel from NZXT and window mod it. I'm also considering a different graphics card.

Working with $270, (taking $100 off for windows, unless you have it, didn't specify) here are some suggestions for RAM, PSU, and hard drives.

Total: $1103.96

Added an SSD in, didn't know if you want to go that way. Also just did 500GB, don't know if you want more space or not.

Go with that card. Amazing performance for $270.

Sorry for any unanswered questions. I have a copy of windows available, not sure what PSU to use, and the extra panel would be for modding the window into so I have a stock one if I need it for RMA purposes.

I recommended a corsair TX650. If you want two video cards ever, go for a 750-850w.

I also forgot to add, throw in an aftermarket cooler, like a 212+ EVO.

That looks good, I don't know about the SSD though. Does Patriot make good RAM? I don't know a single person with patriot RAM. I'm if I could get a PSU + Ram combo similar.

I also cant decide what Mouse, Keyboard, and monitor to use. As for monitors I'm considering either an ASUS VS or VE series 24" monitor.

Would painting that red trim piece on the graphics card void the warranty? It would look awful with blue fans. I'd also prefer a Two fan cooler but as you all say: Its a lot of performance for the price.

Patriot makes decent RAM, their Gamer 2 stuff is meant to be good.

I reckon painting bits of the graphics card would probably void the warranty, yes. :(

Update: Sandisk (size, est life) vs Corsair (speed)

I'd prefer to spend $1000 on the computer itself because I intend on spending a lot on peripherals and I only have about $1400, but I feel like I'm getting a lot for my money.

I'll be spending about $180-220 on a monitor (Asus VS series 24" or VE series 24"?) and maybe $100 on Keyboard/Mouse.

Any suggestions for keyboards and mice?
