Alright I'm building my second computer and I'm almost sure this is the outline of it. The only way I would change is if someone found a better part for less or equal or if someone found the same part for less.

Motherboard
Asus K8N (I'm going wiht a refurbished becasue it includes all the retail parts and it is 30 bucks cheaper)

Processor
AMD Athlon 64 3000+

Video Card
nVidia GeForce 5200 256mb (I will only take an ATI if its an AWESOME deal, I enjoy nVidia Chipsets better)

RAM
(Refurbished again-it has a 15 day warranty, and if something doesn't happen in 15 days, I think the cahnce of it ever happening is very slim)Kreaton

Case
Linkworld ATX with 430 watt

CDRW 52x32x52x

25.00

I plan on OCing the memory and Processor and playing a couple decent games on it, along with homework. Its really cheap, yes, I know, but I don't have any money. I don't think its that bad of a deal though.

I don't like the 5500 GPU because its not compatible with most Linux ditros, at least the ones I use. I had one and it was hell.
