I just got my x850PRO yesterday, and this is what I got in 3DMark03 stock:

Then I did some research and found that my card can be unlocked, so I flashed it with the x850XT PE BIOS, and it successfully unlocked it from 12pp to 16pp, and from 500/500 to 540/590. I havent tried oc'ing it any more yet, but I will and i'll post those benchmarks back. And this is what I got in 3DMark03 after flashing the card:

(The only thing that changed was the video card BIOS, everything else was the same in both tests)

lucky! My x850pro wouldn't unlock :(
Does your's have VIVO, and is it AGP?

From researching I found that only cards with VIVO are able to sucessfuly unlock to 16pp.

Yup, it's just a Radeon ATI x850pro with Vivo agp, i tried it already but it just didn't unlock.

I wish, but the way my card is now, it outperforms even a 7800GT!

And yes I have a backup of the BIOS, what do you think I am?

I suppose it is the same with the X800GTO with VIVO, since it is listed as an X800 Pro on 3Dmark. I could find out, but what were the clocks stock? The overclocked clocks are nice. Mine will not artifact in Atitool but will artifact in games, so I can't really say it is at 530/590.

I wonder if you can volt mod the card...

A X800 Pro is stock at 475/450MHz (475/900MHz) 12pp. My X800RX is basically a X800 Pro, it clocks very nice when it comes to core clock. I can run it at 575/520 (575/1040) without artifacts, I'm a bit disappointed on the memory OC as it starts to artifact at 525MHz.

Nice job, Omega.

Stock clocks were 500/500, and there running at 540/590 from the XT PE BIOS. I can clock them a little higher, but it's not really worth it.

Nice work! But I doubt that it outperforms 7800GT.. Maybe stock GT in 3DMark05 but try and run 06.. I also doubt that it´s better than 7800GT in HDR games either..and theres still 4pipes to go and 7800GT OCs pretty much :)
Hope it lasts long wih that new BIOS and OC. What brand it is? Connect3D?

By comparing specs side by side, the x850XT PE performs better in almost all areas. However the 7800GT is a newer card, and there are some games/test that are optimized for nVidia, so that card will win then.

And obviously my card would lose in 3DMark06, since this doesnt support SM3.

My card manufacturer is Sapphire.
