Suggestions and a problem

I think that a bug forum would do good.
And the problem is, it won't let me upload an avatar - I made it 15x15, but it still says that the image is too large.

27.7 KB and it's 256 color. For a while, I thought that newbies cant have avatars - none of them do.

yeah, you just need to put that image on a bit of a diet. try saving it as an .gif or .jpg.

That image is 27.7 KB in .gif format, 8-bit color (I think that's 256 colors). I'm from one of those really big boards, and I'm VERY familiar with vB, so thus I msut tell, tat vB doens't accept any other image forats than jsut jpeg, bitmap, or GIF.

As for newbies, AainaalyaA, I didn't got to a forum, I went to the members list. Which si wehre I also got the idea that this is a relatively new and small community. I can also reassure you, that in 6 monoths there will be over 300 mebers here.

you can always try remotely hosting the avatar. or if you like, send it to me and i will do my best to decrease the file size without losing to much of the quality. here is my email address... [email protected]

Yes it does. You know when yo change your avatar, it gives a URL box on top of the Browse box.. Taht's where you put the URL of the image.

aleksey - the attached image is 6k in size. i really don't see why your avatar is still so big at 15x15 pixels.

Yeah, I am fairly sure it is not remotely hosted. That would not be very good anyway, because if other hosts were down, you would get a whole lot of missing image placeholders.
