Suggestions for new GPU ?

Topic I've been wandering about some time,
didn't really find anything useful in google

I'm terribly in need of a new GPU because I have a Radeon HD 6570 but I've had a hard time to decide which one would be best.

I'd like to have suggestions:
GPU for mostly gaming in 1080p
Which manufacturer
Price range around 200-250$

I've been thinking about 2gb GTX560 Ti by Gainward..
 
6950 2GB would be better.
I suggest MSI 6950 TFIII version since it has a nice cooler which makes the card cool and quiet.
 
too bad 2gb's start at 260 or 270 i think, so out of budget, but yes they would be better than the 1gb's
 
So in addition I need a new PSU.
What is the absolute minimum watts for 560 ti and hd6950 to operate ?
Manufacturers says 500W for minimum

There is XFX HD6950 2gb for the exactly the same price as the Gainward 560 so I'll give it a thought.

And lastly does memory clockspeed affect much to the performance ?
Is there noticeable diffence for example between 2000mHz and 4000mHz ?
I don't really know about this stuff.. so I'd appreciate if someone wiser helps me out.

This may even lead to the point I need to buy new pc
 
I would go with something bigger then 500W. Somewhere around 600/650 to give you some overhead for later updates. Antec/Silverstone/Corsair/PC Power&Cooling/XFX/Seasonic. Yes higher GPU and memory speeds will make a difference. Manufactures make overclocked models, but most of the time you can overclock them yourself. But if you get a manufacture overclocked one, they do guarantee they will run at that speed.

I think I've made my decision and will probably stick to these:

MSI NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti Twin Frozr II, 2GB GDDR5
Since there is no big difference between this and 6950 and I feel somehow a bit more comfortable with GeForce

560W, LC6560 v2.3, Silent Giant Green Power Edition, 80 Plus Bronze
I dont't want to pay more for PSU and I'm not going to upgrade after this

**** this.. total of 320€ (420$)
 
how much does that cost, i've never heard of that brand and the way you say it it sound like its really cheap, meaning you try to put a 560ti on it and it's going and taking something else with it most likely, cheap psus are a bad idea.
 
Oh, its LC-Power forgot to mention. It was 49€
Other option would be Silverstone 500W, Strider Essential, ATX 2.3 53€
