Hey all,

I was wondering if anyone could tell me if this is the best setup I can get right now for the money. (no more than 1000$) I would do this myself normally but I've been out of the computer tech loop for some time. I'm rebuilding my computer (I don't need a graphics card, I already have a nice one) and this is what I came up with:

CPU: Intel Core i7 920 2.66ghz
Memory: OCZ Gold 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM
Motherboard: ASUS Rampage II GENE
HD: Western Digital 1TB 7200rpm 3.0gb/s
PSU: CORSAIR CMPSU-750TX 750W ATX12V

Any and all suggestions would be much appreciated

If you have an ATX case i would recommend going for a full atx motherboard such as one of these:

And for memory, could you post a link to the memory you are looking at?

As far as power supply, you could save a few bucks going with this(but the corsair is also a very excellent unit, if im not mistaken these power supplies both use seasonic internals):

so with all of that, you think that what I have is the best set of parts for strictly a gaming computer I can get for the money?
