I need suggestions.
I had a p5nsli 2.8 D mobo but it just up and stopped working on me. I would like to get another motherboard but should i just get the same one? Its only like 50 bucks on ebay. I know p D is older technology but it works for me. I dont even do gaming. Only video editing.
I just am not sure what to do. I have everything minus the ram and motherboard. It will save a headache for me too so i wont have to re-install windows!
Suggestions?
I am open to getting a different mobo but im not sure if you will find anything better than 2.8ghz for 50 bucks lol. I dont want to spend much more than that either.

You can always try getting another P5N-E SLI and upgrade at a later time. It will take any 775 65nm cpu and most 45 nm cpus, quad core included, up to 1333MHz FSB, so you can go to a C2D or C2Q at a later time.

Or, you could find another, similar socket 775 mobo that will allow you to upgrade your CPU at a later date again, it doesn't have to be P5N-E SLI.

Or, if you can get a bit of money together, get a phenomII or AthlonII CPU, AM2+ mobo and stick your memory in there and, when you have the money, upgrade to an AM3 board and DDR3, then you have scope to go to a better Phenom CPU
