suicide if you don't help

I have a Windows XP and i go to this one site called www.mycoke.com and when i get to that page the page is like a animation (kinda like wen u go to a movie site and it does the lil start up before u can start clicking on it) but just last nite it was alright and i was on that page but now all that comes up is a blank page with a couple of lil white boxes with the red X's in it... can anyone help me out?
 
i have the same cpu, and had a worse video card than that, but i can play bf2 mostly low settings at 1024x768. one thing you may try, albeit it probably won't affect performance so much as fixing a potential crash hazard, is alt-tabbing out of bf2, ctrl-alt-del, go to processes and right click on bf2. go to affinity and set it to just one cpu.
btw, the cache size has an unnoticeable impact on gaming.
 
guys, thx so much for your input. as soon as freaking cavalier stops screwing me and hooks up my dsl, i'll try every link posted (hope none of them are pron). btw, i'm running bf2 on 800*600 all low settings and still not completely smooth, especially around smoke or water. man, i'm getting pissed, and thinking about other gpu, maybe 6600gt or a cheap 6800.
 
yeah, the desktop seems slow for the dual core that's in it. at times it lags when switching programs or shutting some programs down. btw, i tried setting the cpu affinity to one cpu for bf2 and noticed a slight difference (better), but game still looked like a choppy mess when i attempted 1024 even at all the lowest settings. what the hell?
