Aiming for a super budget build, will these parts be compatible? I have an 850 watt power supply and some other odd parts, but this is what my main concern is:
*pair of Intel Xeon X5450 3.00GHz/12M/1333 Quad-Core Processors
*Kingston 32GB 8x4GB PC2 5300F ECC FB-DIMM 667 DDR2 2Rx4 Memory
*Corvalent FI-BDPEX Server Motherboard Dual LGA771 Intel SB5000P
Will these parts all be compatible?

What do you aim to use this for? If it's for a general use PC then these server components are inappropriate but they will work, I guess. There might only be drivers for Windows Server though.

hopefully a little fallout if it's possible, I have a gtx 780 for this I was hoping to use...
Honestly for gaming this stuff is probably going to be hopeless. You can't even use a 780 with that board because it doesn't have a PCI Express slot. You'd be far better off looking for an old i5 or i7 system instead for gaming A first or second generation i5 or i7 system would be miles better than this. I had both an i5 760 (first generation) and an i5 2500K (second generation) and they were great. You'd get DDR3 RAM too, rather than DDR2.

The only supported CPUs for that board are listed as:
Embedded Processors (771 LGA package)
Intel Quad XEON E5440 @ 2.83MHz 12 MB cache, 1333 MHz FSB, 45nm
Intel Quad XEON L5410 @ 2.33MHz 12MB cache, 1333 MHz FSB, 45nm
Intel Quad XEON E5345 @ 2.33MHz 8 MB cache, 1333 MHz FSB, 65nm
Intel Quad XEON E5335 @ 2.00MHz 8 MB cache, 1333 MHz FSB, 65nm
Intel Dual XEON 5140 @ 2.33MHz 4 MB cache, 1333 MHz FSB, 65nm
Intel Dual XEON 5130 @ 2.00MHz 4 MB cache, 1333 MHz FSB, 65nm

Why do you have a GTX 780 and presumably no CPU, board or RAM to run it with anyway?

I had a pc that caught fire... tested gpu and was still good...
Oh right OK - sorry to hear that! Bad power supply or board?

I wouldn't go with these old server components. Get something a bit newer and actually get gaming-grade hardware like an i5 or an i7 setup. What's your budget looking like?

board, like $300-400 I have an 850watt psu, antec lanboy case, and the 780
With that money you can do so much better than these old Xeons and a server board that can't even run your graphics card.

If you have $400 and you just need a CPU, board and RAM then you can get a brand new Intel Skylake setup.

Intel Core i5 6600K: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819117561
Gigabyte GA-Z170 HD3: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128843
8GB RipJaws-V DDR4: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231882

Those come to $393. You can get a cheaper motherboard and save money or you can get a cheaper board and spend more on the RAM and get 16GB, but the point is this deal with old server CPUs and a board that doesn't even work with the CPU or your graphics is rubbish when you can get a brand new i5 6600K setup with your money which will be so much better. Paired with the GTX 780 it will be great.

It sounds like you have the other parts.

I shall look, I have been out of the pc world for like a year, other than my remote access to my 3x hp proliant dl580 g4 servers I haven't been touching or looking at pc parts...
