supercooling?

you have not used a stand alone air conditioning unit forcing air into pc case?

A/c is a form of phase transfer, so it is similar. A/c units are much too large and draw too much power though. Although they would work very similar for cooling if you could direct the air.
 
Its is a form of phase transfer, I didn't expect it to cool as well as it did but now I'm affraid its cooling too much.
What's the issue with the cool 'n quiet? I have it enabled, but that's just because it comes enabled and I haven't messed with it.

no, it isn't making it too cold, especially not with the temps you said.

Cool 'n quiet underclocks the CPU when it isn't under load so it stays cooler, uses less power, and stays quieter. For instance, when my system is sat idle, my CPU is at 800MHz with it on, when under moderate load, it goes to 1.6GHz, when under heavy load, it goes to the full clocks, 2.8 at stock or whatever I have it clocked to.

It shouldn't be causeing any problems though
