I tried the link, I kept getting error, more then likely it will I think the sata specs for the mainboard are the most recent and sata is backward compatible. How much are you paying . I just purchased a SATA 300 Gig Westrn digital for $125 ...there are also adapters out there I just bought 3 that are really cool. the first is a PATA to SATA adapter the second is a SATA to PATA adapter and the third is an adapter that you connect to a 40 pin ide cable , it has two card slots for 2 compact flash cards, that you can use like two HDs you can boot from them or whatever...diskless pc. I am using my 1gig compact flash card from my camera, trying to trim XP so it will install onto the 1 gig card,,,,I digress...sorry had to tell someone that.

I got the HD at newegg.com

hm, i am paying 100 € for a 200 gb sata disk.. Bare in mind that i live in greece so, i have to pay taxes and the fare if i want to buy a disk from newegg.com ...
