Do any of you burn music video's and/or movies on CD-R's (blank discs)???

I tried burning a supposid SVCD file on a disc, then tried it on my DVD player but it didn't work...

What's the process of such a task? *wonders*

well, it needs to be authored correctly

not worth the time, tho.

You can get a dvd player that will play mpeg4 (divx/xvid) for $40, and fit a movie onto a cd with 10x better quality than svcd.

SVCDs aren't as much of a standard format as say VCD... Which even some DVD players have problems playing those or even home-made DVDs!

the cool ones are called kvcd.

I don't know how they're made, the only ones i've ever seen were downloaded as kvcd's already.

But they're a single CD with the ENTIRE movie on it, and it looks WAAAY better than a video cd (which only holds 1 hour)

Like i said, tho. The best way to go is a divx certified dvd player. Then you can fit the entire movie onto a cd, or 6 movies onto a dvd, and the quality is near-dvd. Especially with the new divx-6 codec. Much better than the old divx 3.
