I have like 60gb of data on my old Computer. What is the fastest way to swap all that data to my new PC?
either use firewire or put both drives in the same computer and do a disk to disk copy.
As long as both computers have a firewire port you can network them together through that. Just buy a cable. It's the same as using CAT5, just a lot faster.

Yes, you do. If they're both in use, just unplug your DVD drive temporarily.
