WIndows 10 Swapping hard drives to get Windows?

Hello! I am not very educated on computers, but understand a few basics about building them. I recently came across a decent desktop that I was going to use for myself, but it is running on Ubuntu. I also have an older and significantly less capable desktop running windows 10. Can I swap the hard drives so that I have a more capable desktop running windows? The connections physically fit when I swap them, the computer starts, but nothing happens.

Thanks

Lucas

No, you just can't swap drives. You will have to purchase a copy of windows for that computer. However, if it originally had a copy of windows 10 on it, then its just a matter of downloading the ISO for 10 and installing it.
