SWEETNESS!! New ATi cards! still only 16 pipes but sweet speeds!!

As for the 7800GTX given a 100% that was to compare it as a standard of performance as to say how much more the card is faster than the 7800GTX.

But in reality, it's not going to be 80% faster than the 7800GTX, so why the ridiculous comparison?

And what in the world is, "Shader Model 3.0 'done right'"??? Was it done "wrong" before?

ATi's release numbers are so doctored it isn't funny. The x1800XT can outperform a 7800GTX in vertex shader tests but if you look at another area (I'm not going to show fill rate because the 7800 absolutely destroys the x1800XT and all the ATi fanboys will claim doctored results):

Heres the vertex shader performance, as I said nVidia loses to ATi here.

I wasn;t saying that it was 80% faster, I was stating that the 7800GTX was used as a "benchmark standard" obviously these are doctored toward ATi. Wait until THG benches them for unbiased results.

You are joking right? THG is the exact opposite of "unbiased" as far as I'm concerned. They practically get paid to write positive/negative reviews.

THe prices of the new cards are outrageous. With the X1300 Pro being the same price as a 6600GT. THe X1600XT, not even being able to beat a 6800GT for the same price. The X1800XL and X1800XT are the only cards that seem to be reasonably priced. IMHO The cards should be priced as followed [[Price to be sold for]
X1300 Hypermemory (32MB)-$50 [$70]
X1300 Hypermemory (128MB)-$60 [?]
X1300 128MB-$70 [~100]
X1300 Pro 256MB-$80-100 [$150]
These should be able to compete with the 6200s until nvidia comes out with a replacement. They are 4 pipelines.

X1600 Pro (128MB)-$100-130 [$200?]
X1600 XT (256MB)-$150 [$250]
These cards compete pretty well with the 6600GT. THese cards are 12-pipelines. Not so sure about x1600 Pro, could be 8-pipeline?

X1800XL(256MB)-350
X1800XT(256MB)-400
X1800XT(512MB)-450
These cards compete with the 7800GT and 7800GTXs and are comparable also to previous gen, 6800GTs and ultras. Hopefully, ati will release its R480 chips soon and be even better. These are 16-pipelines

The graphics card bench's seem pretty unbiased as far as i'm concerned.
