Hey, I'm wondering if I could manually switch my graphics card from a Intel(R) HD Graphics Family to a EVGA GeForce GT. I have a Toshiba Satellite P55-A5312 got a year or so ago.
Thanks would appreciate a quick answer,
Luke
Well some gaming Laptops have a Desktop GPU in them. :/Nope. Can't upgrade to a different video card on a laptop unless it has already has one. All gaming laptops have integrated and dedicated video.

Uhm, no... Gaming laptops have a mobile gpu in them, hence why there is an M at the end of the model of idoe card. A desktop video card won't fit in a laptop.
This video has a Laptop with a Desktop 6700, and a GTX 980...?

Go to 6:58 in that video and look at the specs. It has a gtx980M video card. You can't fit a desktop card in a laptop.
It's the same GPU, but it's not the same as an actual desktop video card (form factor, interface, cooler, etc.)
