Switching some RAM Around

So, in my system i have 2 RAM sticks. One is PC3200 (200mhz) and the other is PC2100 (133mhz), I only have 2 RAM slots. In my spare computer i have some RAM sticks that are at PC2700 (166mhz), so if i switched the 133mhz for a 166mhz would i see much of a difference? They are both DDR 256MB.
My other stick is PC3200 512MB @ 200mhz, so either way it will lower it's clocks to match.

I think sometimes the motherboard uses one memory slot as a primary slot. So switching may prove good or bad, but not by too much.

I've just switched the 133mhz stick for the 166mhz stick... not much of a noticable difference really...

there should be no difference at all because the system doesnt run ram at different speeds!

it down clocks the faster ram to match the slowest stick!

all your ram is running at 133mhz!

i remember having ram running that speed, now i got mine running at 1444mhz lol

Actually, all my ram now runs @ 166mhz not 133, becuase i changed the stick. Also i know that if one stick is slower than the other, the faster one will downclock. There is a difference, because both of my sticks now run at 166 instead of 133. In total that means that my RAM is 66mhz faster (2x33) with no noticable difference.

i changed my ram from 800mhz to 1066mhz a while back and noticed nothing at all, so im not surprised you noticed nothing aswell with a change of only 33mhz
