alright whoever has symantec client security as a virus protection program knows that it is a pretty good program. This one day idk but it said i had to reinstall symantec and i was like well **** this and i tried uninstalling it thourgh add/or remove programs in control panel. right before the green bar hit the end of it it rolled back changes and it said there was a fatal error and i tried deleting in manually by going to c:/ProgramFiles/Symantec i deleted it all manully but it keeps on coming back. zZz also everytime i right click on my desktop like right click on recycle bin to delete it or right click on the quick launch icons it says preparing to install. i went to services.msc in run and i stopped windows installer because that was the thing that kept on trying to install symantec everytime i right clicked. and i also disabled that service. before i stopped and disabled it i let it run one time to see what it would do and it started to install and the same thing happened again right before it could finish it said a fatal error has occured. i have the cd of it and i tried reinstalling it uninstalling it and even changing it but i cannot. zZZ can someone please give me answers and solutions to this. much appreecaited.
