Sync Between Computers

I'm looking for a free program to sync files from one computer on to my laptop. It's a must that this is done automatically because my files change too often to manually run a sync each time. It would also be nice if I don't have to install the program on the source computer, only my laptop. Is this possible?

You can use Dropbox to do that. Even sync between more than 2 machines. DropBox

You have to upload/download everything from dropbox

iCloud will allow this but I doubt you're synching between Apple devices.

Oh thanks I didn't see the replies again. For some reason I hadn't subscribed to this thread. Anyways, yea I'm not using Apple. For now I've been using Window Live Mesh. It seems to be doing the trick, but any other suggestions are always welcome

Well, DropBox allows you to have a shared folder on as many computers as you want, you don't have to manually upload and download files individually, just move them in and out of that particular folder. You do have a smallish 2GB limit for the free version though.
