I recently ran Spybot "System Internals" scan and it found this registry problem:

Category: Startup file does not exist
Location: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\NvCplDaemon

Can anyone tell me what file this is (NvCplDaemon) and if it is ok to delete this registry entry. Is says it is a startup file???

Sounds like at Control Panel extension (module) for Nvidia.
Do you have Nvidia FGX card ?
i don't think you should delete it

Nvidia driver..

Thanks. Yeah, I do have a Nvidia card, so I guess it is a driver file. I'll leave it as is. It's seen as a "file missing" registry entry though? Weird... I just did a search and I don't have the file.

I think I'll just leave it though. It does not seem to be harming anything for now.

Thanks
Scott
