Returning member here (forgot login, been awhile), building a new system to replace an Athlon 64 3500+ system I built a few yrs ago. While I welcome any legitimate suggestions or comments on any of the below components, mainly i'm looking for advice on a mobo.
I'm looking for one that won't need a bios flash concerning the 1055T, is preferably Gigabyte, Biostar, or Asus, is around $100 without MIRs, and has 2 PCIE ports since I want to put in a capture card sometime. I'm not into overclocking, so that sort of stuff isn't important when it comes to the mobo. USB 3.0 would be icing on the cake, but isn't needed. Basically just looking for one that fits the above specs and is a good, solid board.

PSU - Antec Earthwatts EA650 650W Continuous Power
CPU - AMD Phenom II X6 1055T Thuban 2.8GHz Socket AM3 125W
Memory - G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 1600
HDD - SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 HD103SJ 1TB 7200 RPM
Monitor - ASUS VH242H Black 23.6" 5ms HDMI Full 1080P
Optical1 - ASUS DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS Black SATA 24X DVD Burner
Optical2 - LITE-ON Black 4X Blu-ray Disc Reader SATA Model iHOS104-08
I'll probably go with a 9800GT or something roughly similar. Something mid-range from Nvidia. I don't plan on doing much gaming, but the 9800GT would be nice to have overall. The gpu isn't important for this post.
Since i'm sure people will ask, I might as well tell you now what I plan on using the system for.
Minimal gaming, if any. Mostly it's going to be a PVR system along with general use and pretty heavy multimedia center. I'll probably be adding hard drives down the road, probably 4GB more memory as well. Other than that, for my uses, I can easily see myself using this system for 3+ years.
