system maintenance advice

hey,

i was hoping someone could give me yet more advice on software to ensure my system is tickityboo. i am about to purchase a netbook and hope to run it entirely on freeware. i was considering using the following and was hoping someone could give me feedback on whether the software compliment each other, are necessary and are worth downloading.

i was considering using:
# comodo time machine system recovery
# everest system monitor
# crystal disk hardware monitor and diagnostic
# lansweeper network inventory
# roadkil's scan port
# system ninja system manager
# defragger
# app remover program uninstaller
# speedtest
# lock hunter file unlocker
# filezilla
# xxcopy file management tool
# roadkil's disk wipe
# liberkey
# winderstat
# cpu-z
# pc wizard
# perf monitor
# hw monitor
# t monitor
# speedfan

as i say i have no real knowledge of computers so would appreciate any advice as to whether this stuff is any good and whether it is compatible with each other/ required.

scroll down to freeware : ive used regseeker also. someone mentioned it was for orphans in the reg.

ccleaner is good. the link has malawarebytes free. about all i use.

i did buy Kaskersky internet Security (has the firewall and all).

i think your to tight with all that. thats a job.
 
All thats needed is Malwarebytes, Ccleaner, a free virus scanner *(avg, avast, avira). Defrag your hdd every few months. Basically its just a matter of learning how to surf the web to keep you malware/virus free.
 
try using microsoft security essentials for your virus protection,

try www.iobit.com they have great tools for maintenance and all free,

try www.piriform.com there you will find c cleaner and a great system information tool called speccy 1.05,

also try a program called keyscrambler this encrypts your keystrokes to combat keyloggers.
