System Mechanic 6 vs. System Mechanic 8

You all seem like very knowledgeable people when it comes to PC tools etc., so I would like your opinion on the following:

I currently have System Mechanic 6 and I would like to know if there is much difference with System Mechanic 8 (i.e. Is it worth spending the $19.95 to update)?

Also, what is your opinion regarding iolo System Mechanic?

I'm not into that program really ...but i prefer TuneUp Utilities instead of System Mechanic ...
