System Restore

hi, there is a problem with my system restore. I can not create a system restore point, it just says restart computer and try again, restarting makes no difference. I can not restore to a point, I just click next and nothing happens and finallly no automatic restore points are being created. The last restore point was when I installed a drive in Feburary but non of these restore points work.

System restore is turned on in the system restore settings.

is there a reason you want to use restore? In my experience it's a waste of harddrive space and better off disabled.
 
sometimes its case of computer not being clean as in your computer may not free of spywares or virus. carry out a scan for all those then try to create a System Restore point, see if it works first.

When I first got my PC, I used system restore regularly as well, in fact it was at the top of my most recently used programs list. :D System restore is like training wheels, after a while, you will find that you do not need it at all; but is is indispensable when you do something and do not know how to undo it.
