system startup error

I just put my mainboard and everything else inside my cpu exept my floppy drive into a new cabinet and added 512 RAM so I now have 1024 mb RAM. Then when I started it up again it said BOOT ERROR INSERT STARTUP DISK. What the hell is the matter? Can anyone help me please...

anyway... im a little confused as to what happened here
was this a new rig?
did/do you have windows installed yet?
what exactly did you do prior to the error?
did you say that you have a floppy drive on the machine?

Never mind. I found the problem and everything is running fine now. I just overlooked the obvious. But thanks for responding.

check the connections to your hard drive

edit: i overlooked the obvious... i do that sometimes
