Tablet PC Text

Yeah I would imagine so also, but I can't seem to find anything on the internet stating that it can. I would hate to have notes from class that are half handwritten and half text. If anything that'd be a reason for me not to get it. I saw one at Best Buy last night and it is so nice. But can't sacrifice what I need for glitz and glam.

I was reading a brochure I picked up front Best Buy on the tablet pc and it said that it does convert it to text and the wording in the paragraph leads me to believe I can change it to another font at a given time...fantastic!

Timbo,

You're right. I was reading online that users have had to adapt to the tablet pc and not vice versa. It's going to be interesting, me and my girlfriend already have a weekend set aside to learn to use it when I get it.

Aha. That's just funney to me..
" Yeah.. Me and my girlfriend has a weekend setup to learn how to write.. "
:D I could never write they way the want, but if you can, or lean how to.. More power t'ya! I suggested to my dad he use's a tablet PC for his medical practice so everything can be nice and clean 'stead of hand written, he said he didn't wanna write they want they want him too.. TOo lazy.. lol

Yeah, it's going to be interesting. What probably will make it hard for both of us is that we both have very "elaborate" cursive handwritings and I was told it's best to write in cursive on the tablet. So we'll see. It'll be fun to try and get used to it. Initiatially I was going to get a laptop, but was told this would be a better. I think for people who have a need to write in any field, school, medical profession, etc. should invest in a tablet. It seems to be a pretty good investment.

Will do. Just anxiously awaiting getting it. Sucks I'll have to go through about 3 weeks of classes without. 6 classes plus working full time...going to be a nightmare  Hopefully having a laptop/tablet will ease the pain.

Damn you're taking 13 classes. That's amazing. I take it the system in Canada is different from down in the US. I think 13 classes would make even Einstein lose his mind. Good luck in your endeavors.

Not that much different: this september ill be enrolled in two programs at two schools full time (neither school knows about the other :P) 7 in one, 6 in the other ... keep things nice and busy ... shouldnt be too hard as the program with 6 courses will be the 1st year equivalent of the program with 7 :P (nothin like free marks because you've already learned everything a year in advance heehee)

That's cool. Hey if you can get away with it and it'll help you, go for it. Free grades/marks are always a good thing.
