Take a long time to Get pass the BootScreen

it take me about 2 minture to go pass the XP bootscreen
is there anyway to fix it?

my spec are: intel p4 3.2gHZ
Asus P4P800E deluxe
1GIG Geil Dual channel ram
XFX 6600GT 128MB AGP8X
200GIG SATA HD
Service pack 2


please help me out , it really annoying...thanks

you may have a broken piece of either hardware, or software driver. Think you should run in safe mode and see which driver it pauses on. Or maybe you have noticed a broken piece of hardware lately - try removing that and put it back in. Later/

ummmm how do i check in safe mode ??!!!?

i forget which one it is for xp, partially because i never use safe mode....but right after your computer POST's hit F5 and F8 rapid fire its one of the two...im leaning more towards F5 though

Mine is F8.

For windows its almost always F8. F5 combinations were other things. In either case, activate the safemode and note what loads
