I don't really know which program is related to the issue but i'm guessing it's Firefox.
There is a possibility it's MSN Live Messenger.
But anyway here it is.
I was trying to send a file through msn, I dragged it and dropped it on the chat windows ..... now it's shadow is on the screen. even when i close everything it stays on the desktop.
The file was sent no problems.
But this thing is bothering me.

Have you restarted your computer?

Just refresh the desktop. That image should disappear.

just a dumb microsoft glitch. happens every couple weeks for me. For example, when i drag an icon to my taskbar to apply it to a certain program. When i drop the image, sometimes it just fades and sticks there. But it has no other problems except for the static image.
