Task Manager not visible and many more virus

i use microsoft windows XP, Service Pack 3
Intel Core 2 Duo CPU T7720 @2.40GhZ
2.39GHz, 1.99GB of RAM

1) The task manager is not visible.
2) I always get a message box saying "Server Busy: This action cannot be completed because the other program is busy. Choose 'switch to' to activate the busy program and correct the problem" with the options switch to and retry.....the box appears again and again when i click any of the two options.
3) Different websites open abruptly.

Please provide me a solution. Thanks in advance :)

Download something like Malwarebytes and put it on disk or USB drive (preferably on another computer).
Then boot your PC into safemode with networking using the F8 key at startup and install Malwarebytes update it and do a full scan of the system.

Also a standalone virus scanner like mcafee's stinger would be a good idea to run in safemode too. Hope this helps Steve
