Task Manager Problem

Ok...Every time I press Ctrl-Alt-Del on my comp. as every one has done in some point or another when they are running Windows :P is that I get this weird window that pops up and looks like this on my desktop:
TaskMannager.jpg

This just started happening a little while ago. As you can see it just shows the task part of the window and gives no options up top as it usably would. And at the task bar button has no name but only the icon shows up:confused::confused::confused:

If anyone knows how I can get this back to normal it would be much appreciated...

EDIT: The only way I can close this window is to log out and back in again or restart the whole computer.

That's kind of freaky. Did you buy this pre-installed, get someone's old system, or install yourself? Love the background, btw.

Problem Solved...I booted up in safe mode, pressed Ctrl-Alt-Del, it came up normally, restarted the system regularly, and then pressed Ctrl-Alt-Del and it came up normally too!:)

What you saw in your original post is called Kiosk mode. It is there by design. You can toggle between Kiosk mode and regular mode by puttin your mouse at the very edge of the screen and double click it.

Another Ms special. It is also present in Win 2000
