Task Manager Problems

I think this should go in here as it referrs to Windows...

Anyway, I'm having trouble with my Task Manager, whenever I send the ctrl+alt+del command I see the window for aobut 2 seconds and then it disappears, any help?
 
Sp2 may be problem

That Sp2 could be the problem right there. When i first installed i couldn't run dos crap not saying that it has anything to do with your problem. But I'm not sure on how much it has changed since I installed it a while ago. I switched back to Sp1

? Thats not the problem. I have SP2 on all 5 of my computers and no problems like this, nor have I seen it on any other computers
 
Any chance anyone here could actually tell me how to fix this problem without rolling back to SP1, I have some hardware that gets jumpy and unstable without SP2...
