Tring to reinstall Win XP and it wont copy tcpip.sys and
sysmon.ocx
Each time the reinstall is a failure.

It's likely that the disk is damaged, either phyically or data-wise, check the surface for scratches and muck and give it a clean. If it's clean then you have a data error.
tRIED A different HD and NTLDR is missing came up
