make sure you plugged all the power connectors in correctly including the 4 pin power connector on the motherboard its easily forgotten

Did you install the CPU fan?

Make sure that it is in correctly, I had an AMD that I changed a CPU fan on, and I didn't have it on quite right and it would start, but only run for a few seconds before turning off.

I installed the CPU fan, but that thing doesn't turn on right away. All the fans are running right after clicking the power button. However, it goes on like before the power off.
 
I just notice that CPU fan, and video card fan don't turn on. There is a moving motion slightly, but they don't turn on.
 
did u remember to plug in the power to the cpu on the mobo and the power to the gpu.. if yes maybe a bad psu try testing with a dif psu

The only way to test what part it is is by taking the system apart and
put it togather one peice at a time and boot it up after you install each part.
and listen to the beeps in the POST if you get beeps go to next step.
you can find the meaning of the beeps from you MB documentation or the manufacure websight google it for your version of BIOS.
for example

first hook the PSU to the MB with only the cpu installed. turn on the system
you will hear series of beeps. this should be the NO MEMORY ERROR
next insert you Ram and you should hear a different series of beep . this should be NO VIDEO ERROR, if the beeps are the same as the first time you have bad memory
next install your video and you should start to see the POST on you monitor
and you should get a no boot disk error or no HDD
and so on.

it is best to build your system out of the case at first and put it togather one peice at a time just to make sure are you parts are good. however dont leave the system running, you dont what to over heat it, just turn it on long enough to see if it will turn on and that you dont have a bunk part.
 
Just to let you know, A CPU and GPU fan should IMMEDIATELY start turning, usually at their maximum RPM at startup, just to protect the hardware during startup because it's stressful on a system.

I unplugged everything, and reconnected only PSU to the mobo with only the cpu installed. It does doing samething that the cpu fan doesn't turn on. Does that mean PSU problem, or mobo, or CPU? No beep sounds at all.
 
i forgot to say make sure the speaker is plugged in or you wont hear no beeps, sorry :( and of course the power button lol

is the mobo still in the case, if so take it out and lay it on the box it came in or anything noncunductive to make sure you dont have a short between the MB and the grounded case, a short between the mobo and the case, try again. if you hear no beeps ( and the speaker is hookedup ) then it could be either the mobo or the PSU, in this case you will have to try a known good PSU on it and see what happens or get a PSU tester.

most PSU wires and power button and speaker wires are long enough that you can lay the box on the side of the case to set the mobo on and still hook up what is needed to test it.

Looks like it is either one PSU or the mobo because I don't hear any beep sound. What happens when CPU fails?
 
when you plug everything into the wall is there a light on your motherboard that comes on? on the inside might be a green light
