Temp Question

No cpu would last if those temps were accurate. What is the make and model cpu. There are far better freewares that will give you far more accurate results. SpeedFan is one freeware that can do this for you. That can be downloaded from http://www.almico.com/sfdownload.php
Holy shit.... You know what you do? You get a couple of wieners and some marshmallows and have yourself a BBQ. 
There's something seriously wrong there. It doesn't matter what CPU you have, that's way too high. If those temps are accurate the CPU is going to have a meltdown.
Two things are suspect.
First, that software is misreporting your temps. See what the BIOS tells you.
Second, the HSF is improperly installed. The CPU fan is spinning really slowly. I don't feel comfy with that speed at that temp. The HSF is not clipped down properly and thus not sitting properly on the CPU. Or there is no thermal paste on the CPU.

SpeedFan will stay within 1C from what is seen with the hardware monitor in the system bios. If you see high temps in SpeedFan then you know there's a problem. Is that cooled with the sotck or 3rd party heat sink/fan combination there?

No, that's entirely possible, especially with an AMD. They can overheat in seconds. By the time it reaches Windows it could be ready to melt down.
It's hard to say. After you hit Windows, restart immediately and go into the BIOS. See what it tells you. That's the only way to know for sure. Then we can go from there.

Ok, so the software is misreporting temps then. Nothing to fear.

If you are really worried about it get yourself a temp probe and put it on the cpu, software and bios temps are in no way to always be accepted as accurate. They tend to be relatively close but there is the chance it will malfunction.
