Temp sensor

Where is the best place to put your cpu temp sensor? Between the heatsink and cpu? Wouldnt it Fry and start a fire there because of all the heat?

it would get really hot, if you place it between the heatsink and the fan...
well, try finding out using your motherboard features, like i think asus mobo tells you the temperature of your cpu, and more

yeah, most of the time you don't need to install one since it comes on the motherboard already! how convenient! but if you still want to put one on, or you motherboard doesnt have one, then put it between the CPU and the motherboard, threading the wires through the pins of the CPU
