Temperamental Printer

I have an hp DeskJet 4235 Printer/Scanner/Copier. I've never had a problem with either the Scanner or Copier functions, but the Printer function can be temperamental. Is it likely to be less temperamental connected to an hp computer?

Nope. The brand of computer that its attached to has nothing to do with it. The issue could either be the printer is on its way out or an issue with the driver software. HP printers are usually crap anymore anyway. Are you printing documents or from webpages? Explain exactly whats going on.

I print webpages & images. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. It's always been like this, on two different computers, using four different operating systems. From Windows Vista to Windows 10. The last time it failed, I tried a troubleshooting tool on http://www.hp.com and it said the printer queue was hung up. I just bought a new Canon and I was going to try to sell the hp
